Richmond Creative Event Catering Expands Venue Offering
The London-based corporate and private catering company, Richmond Creative Event Catering, has been appointed to the list of accredited caterers at the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew.
The corporate hospitality team at Kew realised they had a gap in middle market caterers on their list of approved suppliers and as a result were missing valuable sales opportunities. As a caterer whose production kitchen is local to Kew, Richmond was the obvious choice. Following an extensive mystery shopper exercise in which Richmond’s response to enquiries, standards of service and quality of food were assessed, Richmond were successfully judged as having the ability to meet the exacting high standards of Kew.
Barry Seaman, Chief Executive of Richmond Creative Event Catering, said: “We are absolutely delighted to have been appointed by Kew. We were able to demonstrate that not only are we a passionate catering company but also by working towards the new BS8901 event standards in catering in preparation for the London 2012 Olympic Games, we met Kew’s key conservation mission of sustainability. This is a unique opportunity and we look forward to delivering fantastic events there.”
Richmond will cater in four different areas at Kew; Cambridge Cottage, The Orangery, The Temperate House and The Princess of Wales Conservatory with the ability to accommodate up to 400 people in total.
